The Golden Eagle's total number of individuals from an estimated range somewhere between 170,000 and 250,000 while the estimated total number of breeding pairs ranges from 60,000 to 100,000. ... On a global scale, they're not considered threatened by the IUCN. I was unaware they existed until I saw photos of what I thought were hawks.
